A different relationship with your body is possible.

Individual & family therapy for eating disorders, body image, and chronic illness

Sarah Rose Smiley, MSc, MSS, LSW at the Main Line Center for Eating Disorders in Bryn Mawr, PA.

Welcome home, body.

I work with the Main Line Center for Eating Disorders in Bryn Mawr, PA. This practice is dedicated to providing specialized, affirming care for families and individuals navigating eating disorders.

My work is deeply rooted in understanding how chronic illness, disability, queerness, and transness complicate and inform our relationships with our bodies and food.

Anchored in anti-diet principles and body liberation.

Intersectional Lens

Recognizing that body image and eating disorders cannot be separated from our experiences of and under patriarchy, ableism, and white supremacy.

Weight Inclusive Care

Rejecting the pathologization of body size and focusing on holistic well-being rather than weight manipulation.

Autonomy & Agency

Centering your lived experience as the ultimate authority on your body and your healing journey.
